Ronida is currently a student at Michigan State University.  She works as a Medical Advocate with hope of one day helping to eradicate domestic violence as well as sexual assault.  Upon graduation she hopes to start a foundation geared towards family education.  It is important to her to empower others who are survivors of abuse or who may know someone who is in need of support. She believes that if we all speak out and stand up for one another one day abuse will be non-existent.

She was inspired to join the organization because she grew up in a family where nearly all of the women have been victims of domestic violence.  Seeing the cycle of domestic violence continue to occur at a young age has severely impacted her. She has used the stories of many women around her to be her motivation to help end domestic violence.  “If you never break the cycle,  you can never start to heal the damage done”.
